Creating New Homes
We believe in developing homes and communities that people are happy to live in. We are proud of our track record of successfully delivering high quality, affordable homes and believe that we have achieved this because we care deeply about the properties we develop and the people who will live in them.
The Development Team at “Johnnie” Johnson Housing works closely with local authority partners, builders and landowners to provide good quality, affordable housing across the country, in conjunction with local needs and strategies.
Each year we manage a portfolio of over £25million of new housing provision for a wide range of housing needs – from families to single people, retirement housing to special needs. Much of our work takes place with grant funding, either from the Housing Corporation or local councils.
Building on nearly forty years of experience in providing purpose built retirement accommodation; we are currently planning a number of ‘extra care’ housing schemes, which we hope will support older people who wish to live independently but need a little ‘extra’ help.
We have also established strong links with a number of specialist care providers and have an ongoing programme of producing accommodation for people with learning difficulties.
We are proud to be involved in major heritage projects in conservation areas because we believe that by investing in regeneration projects we can contribute to the preservation and conservation of areas where people want to live, now and in the future.
