North West and South Yorkshire
Our North West & South Yorkshire regional team operates across the North West, High Peak and Yorkshire areas and our key function is to manage our estates effectively. The team was established in 2006, to provide a more responsive neighbourhood approach to housing management; encouraging the team focus on the development of closer working relationships with our local authority partners, as well as other agencies.
The management of the estates includes the key functions below
• Rent collection and money advice including welfare benefits.
• Management of waiting lists, including the allocation of properties and signing up new customers.
• Management of empty properties to ensure a speedy turnaround.
• Responding to incidents of Anti Social Behaviour on our estates.
• Managing the Environment our customers live in. Ensuring regular inspections occur and the estates are clean and tidy.
• Working with local authorities to deliver their aims and objectives.
• Working with local residents and communities to deliver better services.
We continue to look to the future and work closely with our Development Team to build properties where they are needed the most.
North East
Our North East Region stretches from Chester-Le- Street in the South, up to Berwick- upon-Tweed in the North.
Managing a varied portfolio of general needs and special needs housing (mainly for adults with learning difficulties), we have established a reputation for excellence in developing and managing housing in rural communities. Whilst our office base is in Morpeth, we deliver our services directly to our tenants in their own homes. Our team is responsible and accountable, for every aspect of our housing management and maintenance service. Our staff work closely together in support of one another, to provide the best possible service.
We are very well supported by our Customer Service Team at Head Office, who take our initial calls and who are able to resolve most issues; forwarding on any they cannot resolve, directly to us. By using technology effectively, our team is fully able to respond to issues effectively
