Despite the shocking weather, the good folk of Poynton turned out in force to support the "Going for Gold "event co -sponsored by the Trust.
Housing Services Manager Tony Hennon who hosted the event said "Considering the weather the turn out was excellent. A number of events took place some of which had to be moved into the local scout hut including a demonstration by the "Dance syndrome group" who provide dance opportunities for young people with learning dificulties"
Tony is pictured with local children whose mother took advantage of our fantastic JJHT water bottles. Yes folks, summer is over.
