Mount Pleasant Development

In March 2011, we began an exciting project to convert a late Victorian Church building and Church Hall in Glossop into 14 brand new apartments for affordable living.  The Trust has worked closely with High Peak Borough Council throughout the development programme and the mixed tenure scheme is scheduled to be completed in 2 phases with the last of the apartments due to be handed over in May 2012.

 

The Mount Pleasant Church building will comprise of 7 shared ownership apartments - 5 x 2 bed and 2 x 1 bed. The Church Hall building will comprise of 7 rental apartments – 3 x 1 bed and 4 x 2 beds. Both buildings will retain many original features such as stain glass windows and the original stone work.

      

All apartments are to be completed to the highest standard, are NHBC approved and come with a host of quality design features, including fully fitted kitchen, shower over bath and screen, TV aerial and Sky HD Plus cabling and communal amenity area.
