Top of the Pops at Portal Court!

Portal court was turned into a music studio to host a fantastic variety performance by local entertainers the MIDDLETON POP STARS!
The group have been entertaining all over the country for years, and at the request of Housing Services Manager Tony Hennon agreed to perform a 40’s swing routine for the residents.
Tony said;
“I met the Pop Stars leader Ann at a recent youth engagement event and was struck by her fantastic enthusiasm to help the young people develop their dancing and singing skills. The kids put on a great performance of singing and dancing dressed in authentic outfits from the 40’s".
This project sits nicely within the Trusts Corporate plan under Youth Engagement and helps to foster improved relations between different generations.
JJHT has donated £250 from our sustainable communities fund to help the group as they develop and improve.
