Friendship & leisure

" I moved into Albert Ball House to be with people of the same age and because of its ideal location."

Janet Ball, Albert Ball House

 Life is better amongst friends

You might find, as many others do that moving into retirement housing provides you with the opportunity to develop new friendships and pursue a range of new leisure activities and interests. Although activities vary from scheme to scheme all tenants are regularly encouraged to come out of their homes into the communal lounge and enjoy the company of others.

Whether its for a drink and slice of cake at a coffee morning, for a game of pool with a friend, joining a Tai Chi lesson, poppiing your dancing shoes on or its a quiet, private moment in the garden, the way you choose to use your leisure time is always your choice to make.

As with any community, our tenants are varied in their backgrounds, talents and interests; to support and encourage a range of activities that cater for varied interests, some of our tenants have formed social clubs that organise entertainment, trips and social functions.

Your choice

Whether or not you choose to take part in any organised social activities you are always in control to come and go as you please; having the choice of when to join in and enjoy the companionship of others or when to appreciate the privacy of your own home.

Above all else, retirement living with "Johnnie" Johnson Housing Trust is about enjoyment in your retirement.
