Active in Age
Retirement tenants from Finningley Lodge in Rotherham were so eager to promote the benefits of staying healthy, active and independent that they jumped at the chance to promote a new ‘Active in Age’ service provided by the local PCT in partnership with Rotherham United Football Club; becoming the faces on the leaflets and DVD cover.

“Tenants at Finningley Lodge regularly participate in exercise through the Active in Age programme here at the scheme. They were delighted to be asked to help promote the service and spread the word of the range of benefits that include reducing illness, enhancing functional ability and improving well-being.
