Tenants have a Grrrreat time welcoming the year of the Tiger!

Chinese tenants from "Johnnie" Johnson Housing Trust's Retirement scheme , Duxford Lodge in North Manchester welcomed in the Chinese New Year and celebrated the year of the Tiger with a special
party. They were joined by fellow tenants as well as tenants from near by Clifford Hilditch Court to help celebrate.
The scheme was decorated with lanterns and vibrant, colourful Chinese decorations; party goers enjoyed a selection of Chinese cakes and delicacies whilst learning about Chinese culture and tradition.
Tenant, Margaret Cheung has lived at Duxford Lodge for seven years and said,
"This is the first time the Chinese New year had been celebrated at the scheme and all the tenants are happy, we all had a wonderful time".
