Crime prevention in Droylsden
One step ahead of crime - Trenchard Court
On Tuesday 3 March, Trenchard Court in Droylsden held a Crime Prevention event in partnership with the Droylsden West Neighbourhood Police Team.
The event was organised in respionse to a spate of burglaries in the area and allowed the police to remind tenants to be vigilant at all time about thier personal safely both inside and outside the scheme. the police officers spent time security marketing tenant's valuables and distributing personal alarms.
The local councillors Ann and Barry Holland attended the event together with representatives from the Supporting People Team. Deirdre Moore scheme manager at trenchard Court sad:
" We regard our tenants security very highly and although the scheme has CCTV cameras and a secure soor entry system, I think building up a close relationship with the local policing team can be nothing but beneficial to tenants at Trenchard Court."
