Tricia Grierson - Head of Independent Living

tg Tricia has worked at Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust for 12 years. She has a broad range of housing experience gained from working across the North of England in housing management, regeneration, sales & leasehold management posts for Salford CC, Manchester & District Housing and LHT. With a BA Honours degree from Hull University, Tricia is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and is an active member of the CIH in the North West and recent past Chair of the regional committee. She is also a committee member of WISH (Women in Social Housing) North West, supporting the development of women in the sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and roll out the new Independent Living Service
  • Work with JJH team and customers to develop the service
  • Develop partnerships with external organisations to deliver VfM
  • Ensure that all our customers describe the new service as outstanding
  • Work to ensure JJH are regarded as a market maker in Independent living

Cameron Shenton - Head of Assets

cs Cameron joined the Trust in 2004 as a Senior Maintenance Surveyor and has been in his current role since 2007.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Asset Services across the business
  • Replacing components in a “just in time approach”
  • Complying with legislation to keep residents safe
  • Listening and consulting with residents

James Bromfield - Development Manager

JS James joined the Trust in 1998.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver the Johnnie Johnson’s new homes development programme
  • Work with Local Authorities to identify need and priorities
  • Obtain funding from the HCA
  • Procure VfM building works
  • Ensure residents are satisfied with their new homes

Louisa Dentith - People and Organisational Development Manager

LD Louisa is repsonsible for delivery our People and Organisational Development strategy. She also contributes to the overall business strategy for Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust by advising the board on human resource implications of its decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • People and Organisational Development services to JJH and Astraline
  • Training and development plans for staff
  • HR support to managers

Emma Midgley - Marketing and Communications Manager

em Emma joined the organisation in November 2014, originally having responsibility for Astraline and then took over the management of services for the whole organisation in April 2016.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Marketing and Communication services to JJH and Astraline
  • Delivery of internal communications to staff
  • External promotion of the Johnnie Johnson brand
  • Delivery of external communication to residents, media and sector
  • Delivery of resident engagement services

Sarah-Jane Gilmore - Governance Manager

SJG Sarah-Jane joined JJH in May 2017 to take on the role of Governance Manager. Sarah-Jane has worked in social housing for over 20 years primarily in the areas of compliance & quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To advise and support the Board & Executive Team with an up-to-date  understanding of governance ‘hot topics’, best practices, codes of conduct and statutory and regulatory requirements in the housing sector
  • Responsible for the effective management of governance, providing consistent and professional support to the Board, Committees and the Executive Team
  • Ensure the effective maintenance of documentation and regulatory records
  • Maintain risk management processes
