Retirement and Supported Housing Tenant Involvement Group
Retirement and Supported Housing Tenant Involvement Group
The Retirement and Supported Housing Tenant Involvement Group is open to all tenants.
Its purpose is to:
- improve communication and develop mutual understanding between customers and 'Johnnie' Johnson Housing staff/Board members
- contribute to issues concerning the strategic direction of the Trust
- make suggestions for service improvements/improved choices and influence the services tenants receive, with speed but not exclusive interest in Retirement Housing
- hold the Trust accountable to customers for performance standards achieved
- consult on policies, service standards and processes
- work jointly with 'Johnnie' Johnson Housing staff and customers on service reviews
- receive information on the work of the Trust
Retirement and Supported Housing tenants from across our schemes come together with staff and our Board link member, in order to review the work of the Retirement and Supported Housing Team. Members give input into policy reviews and influence how central services are delivered.
The group meets four times annually. (Our meetings coincide with the North East Tenant Involvement Group to discuss common agenda items.) Travel expenses are paid or transport to meetings can be arranged and lunch is provided.
