DIGITAL SWITCH OVER NEWS
Please be aware that there are major planned works taking place on the aerial transmitter at Winter Hill. It is likely that everyone in the Granada Region will experience some interference with terrestrial TV reception (TV channels 1 - 5).
The works are scheduled to take place between March - November 2008. During this time, it is expected that some of the works may cause temporary interference to TV pictures and sound. If you experience a problem that is intermittent, then the cause is most likely to be the planned works at Winter Hill. Please note that the works are not restricted to Winter Hill, work is taking place on a number of transmitters, but Winter Hill is the major one for the North West region.
