Johnnie Johnson Housing is delighted to announce that we have retained our G1/V1 rating from the Regulator for Social Housing, following our latest in-depth assessment (IDA) which started in September this year. G1/V1 is the highest regulatory rating a housing association can achieve with a G1 for governance and V1 for financial viability.

Chair of the Board for Johnnie Johnson Housing, John Sandford, said:

“I’m delighted to share this fantastic news with you. The retention of our G1/V1 status is a company-wide effort between Board members, our Executive team and all colleagues who have worked together to make this happen. I would also like to thank our previous Chair of the Board, Frances Street, for her hard work over the last seven years, in this achievement.”

He continued: “Our journey has been one of keeping ourselves financially strong, and our Board and Executive Team have worked hard on creating our ambition for ‘outstanding’ governance.

“We continue to prioritise a customer-focused culture, where residents come first, while also promoting a culture of innovation. We look for opportunities to continually improve our existing offer and think a lot about what our future offer for our homes and services will look like for the next generation of Johnnie Johnson Housing residents.”
