More than 160 customers attended our ‘roadshows’ and we had some brilliant conversations about what you want from JJH. I hope you saw our commitment to listen and to develop services that respond to your needs.
We gained a much deeper understanding of customers’ requirements than we have had previously, and we have already started to follow up on your feedback to improve services further.
We are delighted that our new staff team in the North East is now in place and will continue to develop our service to you.
Allison Allison – North East Neighbourhood Manager
Allison has a wealth of experience in housing services; and was previously a Head of Service at Your Homes Newcastle. Allison leads the whole team and the delivery of services across the North East region and will working closely with colleagues across the Trust as we work to become ‘outstanding’.
Rosemary Fenwick – Neighbourhood Housing Officer
Rosemary has been with the Trust for 24 years and will be familiar to many of our customers. She has bags of knowledge about the Trust and is passionate about the service we provide to our customers. Rosemary is responsible for a ‘patch’ of general let properties; she manages the Independent Living Officers and other scheme staff; and is one of our computer ‘super users’.
Kelly Holden – Independent Living Officer
Kelly joins JJH from Gentoo, another social landlord. Kelly has many years of experience in housing management, support planning and in construction. Kelly is responsible for a patch of general let properties and also provides services in Lancaster House.
Bettina McKinnon – Independent Living Officer
Bettina has been with the Trust for four years and was previously a Scheme Manager for Leuchars Court. She is responsible for general let properties and also provides services at Leuchars Court. Bettina is one of the team’s ‘super users’ for our computer systems.
Joanne Pringle – Independent Living Officer
Joanne has had a long career in housing – as a specialist in service charges and income management at Riverside Housing and as a Housing Office rat Gateshead Council. Joanne is responsible for a patch of general let properties and also provides services at Bader Court from time to time.
Emma Dunn – Independent Living Co-ordinator (part time)
Emma joins us from Stirling Council where she was a Housing Officer for more than ten years. Emma works across Boulmer Court and Blenheim Court; and at other schemes as required.
June Dixon – Independent Living Co-ordinator (part time)
June has been with JJH for ten years and was previously Scheme Manager at Bader Court. June works across Wansbeck Court, Woolsington Court and Lancaster House – and at other schemes as required.
Victoria Romanis – Independent Living Co-ordinator (part time)
Victoria joins us from Riverside Housing where she worked with customers in supported accommodation. Victoria works across Blenheim Court and Leuchars Court; and at other schemes as required.
Deborah Simeson – Independent Living Co-ordinator (full time)
Deborah joins JJH from the Percy Hedley Foundation and previously worked at Two Castles Housing Association. She has a life-long career in housing and care and works across Bader Court, Wansbeck Court and Woolsington Court; and other schemes as required.
Tracey Halliday – Independent Living Co-ordinator (part time)
Tracey joins from Anchor Housing Trust where she was a Scheme Manager. Tracey will be working across Wansbeck Court and Woolsington Court; and other schemes as required.
Imtiaz ul Haq – Maintenance Surveyor
Imtiaz has been with the Trust for 25 years and provides maintenance and technical support across the whole region. The whole team rely on Imtiaz’s expertise in managing our contractors for repairs and planned maintenance.
We will be holding coffee mornings in our Independent Living Schemes during July so that residents can meet the team. The team will be out and about on all of our estates in the region In August and September. We will make contact personally before we come to the estates, so that you have the opportunity to meet your Housing Officer or Independent Living Officer.
