Your safety is the most important thing to us and it is a legal requirement for us to carry out regular gas safety checks on your home. We will always book an appointment with you either by letter or telephone and where possible we will do what we can to arrange your appointment at a time that suits you.
It is important that you allow us access into your home to complete these checks, doing so forms part of your tenancy agreement. Which is why we are rewarding our residents who have let us in first time by entering you into a prize draw to win a free tablet!
How to enter:
We’re giving away two brand new tablets to two of our residents who have helped us ensure your homes are gas safe. Any of our residents who have let us in first time for their gas safety appointment in the last 12 months, will automatically be entered into our prize draw to win a free tablet! One lucky resident living in our Independent Living schemes and one lucky resident from our General Let properties will win a tablet each! You don’t need to do anything more, just cross those fingers and toes and pat yourself on the back for helping us keep you and your home safe.
Johnnie Johnson Housing is legally required to carry out and record an annual gas safety check on each gas appliance and flue within your home. An appliance safety check is necessary to make sure that the appliances you are using are safe and comply with regulations.
