Moving in to your new home

Once we inform you that you have been successful in your application for a property, we want to make sure that your move goes as simply as possible.

To ensure that everything is in place for you when you move in to one of our properties, a member of our team will help you through each step from viewing to moving in.

Once we inform you that your application has been successful, we will contact you to arrange a suitable date and time for you to view the available property.

Following the viewing, there are certain documents we require in order for us to be able to offer you a tenancy. These may include references from your current landlord and your Right to rent documentation. We will also complete an affordability assessment where we will look at your income and expenses with you.

We know that some times, you may have additional requirements which need addressing to enable you to move in, such as furniture.

At this stage, we will discuss these with you and look to get items such as furniture packs ordered.

Once we have received all the required paperwork, we will then invite you to a sign-up meeting where we will be able to discuss any details relating to the property and your tenancy, and also have you sign the tenancy agreement.

Prior to move in, you may also need to pay your first months rent upfront.

Once the tenancy agreement is signed, you will be handed the keys to your new home. You will also be provided with a welcome pack which contains useful information regarding your new home, paying your rent and Johnnie Johnson.
