Your home, your handbook

Welcome to your new home and Johnnie Johnson Housing

Our vision is simple, it is focused on ‘Living Longer, Living Better’. We want to help our residents age well, live independently and maintain their quality of life for as long  as possible.

Air Vice Marshal Johnnie Johnson, founded Johnnie Johnson Housing in 1969 after his retirement from the RAF. He was Chief Executive and the driving force behind us until his retirement in 1989.

We are dedicated to delivering outstanding service and becoming the sector leaders, true ‘Market Makers’ in independent living for older people. The strength of our business means we are ideally placed to provide real, affordable housing and service solutions to support the UK’s rapidly ageing population. As Johnnie Johnson Housing approaches its 50th birthday in 2019 we look forward to working with you to turn our vision into reality.

We do hope that you enjoy living in your new home and that you find this handbook helpful. It has been designed with the help and advice of current residents to ensure the information is relevant and accurate.

We are an exempt charity and non-profit making organisation. We are registered with the Homes and Communities Agency (a government sponsored agency, responsible for the promotion and supervision of housing associations) and with the Registrar of Friendly Societies.
