Domestic Abuse Support

Sadly, figures show that domestic abuse across the UK is on the rise and is one of the most under-reported crimes, as it usually involves a family member, partner, or former partner.

We take any forms of domestic abuse incredibly seriously, so if you or someone you know is experiencing, or has experienced domestic abuse, we can help. The most important thing you can do is to tell someone about the abuse you are suffering and try to get domestic abuse support – remember you are not to blame.

Any form of domestic abuse is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. We understand how difficult it can be to report domestic abuse, but rest assured we are here to help, and we are committed to ensuring you and your family are safe from further abuse.

As part of our commitment to you, we will always treat any report of domestic abuse confidentially and with respect. We will listen without judging you or your situation. As your landlord, we have a duty of care to you and any other family members affected by the abuse, and we will take action and involve other agencies to ensure you are safe.

We know that getting help isn’t always as simple as it sounds, however, you should never be afraid to ask for help. If you are experiencing domestic abuse and are in an emergency situation, you should always dial 999.

Our domestic abuse support team are on hand to help with any questions or queries you may have, and we are committed to helping you through this traumatic time. You can call our customer service hub on 0345 305 5335 to report any forms of domestic abuse. We will, where needed, involve other agencies, such as the police, in tackling the matter.
