Local residents, community groups, Council officials and other providers of services to older and vulnerable people were invited to meet the call handling team, view the equipment options, and to see the 24 hour call monitoring system in operation. Mince pies and mulled wine made the event festive and extra welcoming and we were delighted to be joined by the Mayor of Poynton
Astraline was set up by Johnnie Johnson Housing in 2002 to complement its independent living schemes with assistive technology equipment and monitoring services to give peace of mind for residents and carers/relatives alike. Since the launch we have expanded the service to offer to anyone in the UK.
