JJH Chief Executive Yvonne Castle has been voted onto the board of the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) – a membership body that represents the views of housing organisations in the north of England.

The NHC brings its members together to share ideas, and ensures that their views are heard at regional and national level. By facilitating conversations in this way, its intention is to help shape future policy and positively influence the housing agenda in the north of England.

Yvonne is pleased to join the NHC board, which was keen to benefit from her specialism in supporting older people. JJH is a market leader in independent living, providing affordable quality housing for older people, enabling them to live independently at home for as long as possible. Yvonne will share our philosophy of “living longer, living better” with the NHC to promote awareness and continue to identify solutions to address the deficiency in good quality affordable homes for independent living for older people.
