Emma Midgley

Director of Integration and Transformation 

Emma has progressed through various roles within Johnnie Johnson Housing and Astraline over the past 10 years.  

Since joining Johnnie Johnson Housing, Emma has overseen numerous projects from development, planning and implementation and has contributed her understanding of best practice disciplines and techniques. 

Some notable initiatives include: 

  • Led and supported the team that won the UK Housing Most Innovative Housing Provider 2021 
  • Supported to roll of out of a new ‘Customer First’ operating model and restructure  
  • Co-developed our first ever ‘Customer First’ Strategy  
  • Undertook brand review and refresh  
  • Launched new mobile app and portal for customers as the sponsor of our digital projects  

As Director of Integration and Transformation, Emma owns the organisations change, communications and engagement programmes, which will work to continually improve and transform the experience for our colleagues and customers. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Accountable for the development and delivery of JJH’s integration into Sanctuary, managing a portfolio of multiple integration workstreams and projects and responsibility for reporting progress to Board and Executive Teams. 
  • Be an integral part of the JJH Executive team, ensuring progress against our corporate plans and ensuring risk is mitigated and VfM achieved. 
  • Responsible for leadership and management of communications, marketing, customer experience, ICT, innovation and capital projects teams and budgets 
  • Lead the development of the integration and transformational change programme with overall responsibility of how projects are delivered.
