In 2021 Steve Smith*, aged 63, was looking for a new home in a friendly neighbourhood after he experienced some problems in a previous area.
As an Armed Forces veteran, with a housing need, we suggested one of our Independent Living properties in Greater Manchester.
Steve, who now lives in the property, said: “I am very happy living here. The flat is beautiful and the area and the neighbours I have met are really friendly and helpful. Inside his flat, we have installed modern appliances and fittings and have made smart adaptations to support Steve to live independently.
