Exciting changes to our Operational Leaders Team

Our CEO, Yvonne Castle is delighted to announce some exciting internal promotions within our wonderful team at Johnnie Johnson Housing today.

Yvonne announces that three existing members of the team have secured brand new Assistant Director roles, Yvonne adds, “We have a strong focus on succession planning and these promotions form part of our succession planning programme, which we’ve named ‘MyExec’, a programme which strengthens both strategic and leadership skills and is also tailored to individuals role and future aspirations. I’m passionate about people and development and our culture is one of investment to enable our colleagues to be their best selves. I’m so excited to make this announcement today, one which highlights the career development opportunities, we have to offer. A huge congratulations to Kate, Karen and Emma in securing their new roles. They have been and will continue to be very valued members of our operational leaders team and I have no doubt they will grab their new challenge with both hands and go from strength to strength”.

Meet our new Assistant Directors

Kate McArdell-Broome – Assistant Director of Customer and Neighbourhoods

Kate has been with us for over 6 years and has successfully gained the promotion from her current role of Head of Customer. Kate’s new role will see her strategically lead our operational direction in our ‘Customer First’ approach, empowering colleagues to deliver outstanding services for our customers, whilst embracing our ‘One Team’ ethos. Kate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the ‘Customer First’ strategy, linking into legislation and best practice to provide assurance and support to our Board, Executive and Operational Leadership Teams.

 

 

Karen Leigh-Whiston – Assistant Director of People and Culture

Karen has been with us for over 6 years and has successfully gained the promotion from her current role of Head of People and Organisational Development. Karen’s new role will see her strategically lead and develop the People and Culture strategy, including activity related to equality, diversity and inclusion, and social value and CSR. Karen will partner and work alongside our leadership teams to embed a culture of learning, coaching and development, which will lead the business to be an outstanding place to work , enabling our leaders and colleagues to deliver a more effective, responsive and quality service to our customers.

 

 

 

 

Emma Midgley – Assistant Director of Customer Experience, Communications and Change

Emma has been with us for over 8 years and has successfully gained the promotion from her current role of Head of Transformation and Communications. Emma’s new role will see her develop and oversee the implementation of our customer experience design strategy, which will build on our digital offer and reputation as an innovative and outstanding service provider. Emma will own the organisations change, communications and engagement programmes, which will work to continually improve and transform the experience for our colleagues and customers.
