Improving the lives of our residents with GMHP

At Johnnie Johnson Housing, we are committed to improving the lives of our residents by working with Greater Manchester Housing Partnership (GMHP) to support them.

Our Group Chief Executive Officer, Yvonne Castle has praised the efforts of GMHP and its members in creating positive change across the region. GMHP recently published ‘Our Year in Review 2022, which highlights how GMHP and its members respond to the significant issues facing our residents and deliver significant value and impact across Greater Manchester. We are striving to make a difference in our community and provide a better future for our residents.

I’m really proud to be a part of the Greater Manchester Housing Partnership. Not only are we collectively striving to improve our residents and community’s health and wellbeing, we’re constantly trying to push the boundaries around embracing and supporting diversity, and we’re helping those who are most vulnerable and have ended up homeless. Specifically at Johnnie Johnson Housing we’re leading in two areas:

  • Supporting our veterans across Greater Manchester find homes access support; and
  • Leading our housing providers in the area of Technology Enabled Care, promoting independence and enabling people to live in their own homes for as long as possible.

It is a great coalition of Housing Associations.  We do this because we care and we want to work with Greater Manchester Combined Authority, the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership and Local Authorities across the area to make people’s lives the best they can be.
