Johnnie Johnson Housing appoints new Chief Executive Officer

We have today confirmed the appointment of our new Chief Executive Officer. We are pleased to announce that we have appointed from within, as our existing Executive Director of Customer Services, Yvonne Castle secures the top position to propel the organisation forward as we continue on our journey to outstanding.

Frances Street, Chair of the Board said “As a Board, we were committed to finding a leader who we believe can ‘propel our vision’ forward and build on the fantastic progress made so far. We are delighted that Yvonne has been appointed as our new Chief Executive following a highly competitive recruitment process. Yvonne will continue the work towards realising our vision, Living Longer, Living Better and becoming the market makers of independent living services. We are so pleased to announce we now have our new leader in place and are excited to see what the future holds for our fantastic organisation”.

Frances then added “On behalf of everyone at Johnnie Johnson Housing, I would like to wish both Yvonne and Paul Dolan our outgoing CEO the best of luck in their new roles”.

Yvonne joined the Trust in July 2015, having worked in social housing for many years. Yvonne has significant experience in providing executive leadership for a range of housing associations nationally.  Having specific expertise in change management, Yvonne has been integral in supporting the implementation of our new structure and vision over the past 18 months.

Yvonne, said “I am proud to take on the CEO role.  We have an ambitious vision and we have great Board and team members working together to deliver outstanding services for our residents”.   

Yvonne will commence her new role from 1st May as Paul Dolan leaves the organisation to commence his new role as CEO with Accent Group. A transition period and handover will take place during April.
