Making a Difference One Bench at a Time
We believe in the power of social value community days to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. During these days, we actively work to improve the environment in which our residents live. Recently, members of our JJH team, along with colleagues from Fortem, sanded and repainted benches at Blenheim Court as part of our ‘Big Help Out’ campaign.
Unfortunately, due to the rain, our residents were unable to get involved. But, with the help of our team, we are making a difference one bench at a time!
The impact of social value community days
As part of our ongoing commitment to making a difference to the environment where our residents live, we have joined the Big Help Out campaign. During these days, we will make environmental improvements to properties such as litter picking, painting garden furniture, and planting flowers. Through these initiatives, we aim to improve the quality of life for our residents and create more sustainable and enjoyable living spaces.

We are delighted with the results of our first social value community day and we plan to continue making a difference to the environment where our residents live by having more social value days in the upcoming months.
A number of these events are supported by our key strategic partners, including our responsive repairs service partner Fortem. More upcoming social value days are planned to take place during April and May. This also ties into plans for The Kings Coronation Celebrations and we hope the British weather will be kind.
We will be visiting properties across each of the key areas that we cover, including the North East, the North West and Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
