Supporting Space 4 Autism as Our Charity of the Year
At Johnnie Johnson Housing and Astraline, we have chosen Space 4 Autism as our charity of the year for 2023. This amazing organisation supports both children and adults living with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) across the UK. Space 4 Autism organise over 4000 activities per year, for adults and children living with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
We are getting behind Space 4 Autism in three key ways:
- Raising Awareness of Autism – Internally, we are educating our workforce about autism to build understanding and compassion. Externally, we are using our platform to promote autism acceptance and make people aware of the challenges those with ASC face.
- Fundraising – We have committed to raising vital funds through employee donation matching and special events. This money will allow Space 4 Autism to keep providing critical services to autistic individuals and their families.
- Volunteering – Our employees are giving their time to volunteer at Space 4 Autism activities throughout the year. This hands-on support makes a tangible difference for the charity.
By choosing Space 4 Autism as our charity of the year, we wish to demonstrate our commitment to supporting community members of all abilities. The partnership allows us to raise awareness, funding, and volunteer for this impactful charity. Their work aligns perfectly with our values of community, inclusion, and compassion.
