The Old Palace was renovated and refurbished by Johnnie Johnson Housing Trust (JJH) to provide high quality sheltered housing. We believe The Old Palace has a valid future as retirement accommodation for older residents. However having reviewed the scheme alongside our existing properties, The Old Palace stands alone, 58 miles from the nearest JJH scheme in our core areas where we provide a selection of homes for local communities.
We believe that Cartrefi Cymynedol, Gwynedd Cyf are best placed to be able to invest in the scheme and deliver a speedier responsive service from a local base.
