Yvonne Castle - Chief Executive

Yvonne Yvonne joined the organisation in July 2015 on an interim basis, having worked in social housing for many years with significant experience in providing executive leadership for a range of housing associations nationally. Yvonne also has specific expertise in change management and supported the implementation of our new structure. 

Yvonne was appointed as our Executive Director, Customer Services, providing executive line management across our operations in July 2016 and then became our new Chief Executive in May 2017.

Geoff Clarke - Executive Director, Finance and Corporate Services

Geoff Geoff joined Johnnie Johnson Housing in May 2014, having worked in social housing for more than 20 years.

He has executive responsibility for Finance, Treasury, Internal Audit, ICT, Astraline and Business Services, which includes Performance Management and Risk Management. 



Ian Thomson - Executive Director, Homes and Services

Ian T Ian is a highly experienced housing professional previously Executive Director Customer Excellence for First Ark Group (which includes Knowsley Housing Trust). He was responsible for Asset Management, repairs and maintenance, investment, neighbourhood and housing management, the development and social investment teams and Vivark the group’s facilities management company.


Kathryn Bradbury - Assistant Director, Homes and Services

kb Kathryn joined Johnnie Johnson Housing in December 2015 at a time of significant and positive change. She was previously Head of Housing Management at Stafford and Rural Homes and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (MCIH). Kathryn enjoys making a difference to people's lives and ensuring our teams deliver our mission of 'Living longer, Living Better.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Frontline operational housing services across all regions
  • Operational independent living services
  • Operational customer hub delivery


Debbie Noble - Assistant Director, Finance and ICT

dn Debbie joined the organisation in March 2014 from IT service specialists INS Sudlows Ltd in Manchester where she was Financial Controller.  Before then, she worked at UK Car Group (Carcraft) for 7 years where she was promoted to Financial Controller and software suppliers Sage UK as Management Accountant.  She began her accountancy career with SCT International setting up a Manchester office and with The Accident Group as Senior Financial Analyst promoted to Financial Reporting Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive, develop and motivate the finance team
  • Delivery of excellent and proactive financial information
  • Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance
  • Treasury management
  • Strict debtor and creditor control along with Payroll


Joe McLoughlin - Assistant Director, Astraline and Technology Innovation

jm Joe has a wealth of experience in the telecare, teleheath and contact service centres. He joined the organisation in June 2016 after a relocation from Kent to Sheffield.

Joe will be working to drive the Astraline business forward and expand our services as JJHT refocuses on it's new vision to support Independent Living.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and Performance of the Astraline service
  • Development of the Astraline service offering and new technologies
  • New Business and Existing client growth
